Here Near The End

She couldn't help smile at the headache comment and sighed, "I don't know." She said though it wouldn't surprise her if he had tried selling Esme off or something in that slave trade thing he had going on. "Only one thing....you are going to help keep me from being bored right?" She asked teasingly.

He raised an eyebrow. Whn did he ever say he'd do that? Annoying woman. "And how would I do that?"

Odette just smirked, "Oh I'm sure you have your ways....like I don't know sneaking in after Esme leaves to get stuff." She said with a laugh.

"I'm not Jim," he said matter of factly. "You won't be seeing me for a while, if ever, so don't get your hopes up," he said with a stern look. "Just get better and get on with your life."

She sighed, "All right....fine." She said as she rolled her eyes, "I'm not that annoying am I? Oh don't answer that!" She added hastily.
(muhahaha whyy do I want him to kiss her good-bye again?? XDD)

He chuckled. "At least you amuse me as well. Not that it's something good fro you maybe, but at least I can enjoy it," he teased.

She rolled her eyes, "Oh yeah, I'm so glad I amuse you." She said dryly but with a little smile on her face, secretly she was pleased she had gotten him to chuckle.

"I really think there's somethign wrong wiht your head. The way you always seem to enjoy my company even with the way I treat ya. You must have a weak spot for me and Jim."

She shrugged, "I've often wondered that myself....but I haven't exactly sat down and analyzed my feelings." She said and made a face at the idea.

He stood up from the bed. "Now you got all the time in the world to figure it out. Without any of us two bothering you..." his eyes almost looked sad when he thoguth about his twin again.

Odette leaned over and grabbed his hand, she ignored the pain and met his eyes with her's. "You know I think its time I do the honors of randomly grabbing you and kissing you." She said and leaned up just enough to press her lips gently against his.

He didn't expect ehr to do thta, but he still wasn't that surprised really. So he gently pressed back, carefully wrapping an arm around her waist so she wouldn't fall over.

Odette kissed him even deeper and wrapped one arm around his neck, she liked the feeling of his arm around her waist supporting her.

Mike pulled back after a while, staring deeply into her blue eyes. "This is good bye Odette," he whisperd softly and kissed her forhead before unwrapping his arm from around her.

Odette eased herself back into a resting position, "I kinda figured....take care of yourself Michael." She whispered. "Just know I'm always here." She added as she stared up at him.

"...I know," he mubled and wlaked to the door, gicing her one last look. "Take care," he smiled and left the door open when he left.
